Every year, Wiltelcom, a company who caters to the mass market of different cellular phones and accessories, celebrated it's anniversary by hosting not only a techno sale but also inviting different brands to participate in their one week event, by naming each day a different brand and to conduct a program on stage. And just last weekend, March 12, 2017 was named Cherry Day.
Cherry Mobile is known for being the leading local mobile brand in the Philippines, and with its pool of Endorsers, Cherry Mobile brought their newest Brand Ambassador and cast of the TV Series, A Love to Last, Mr. Xian Lim to Davao to celebrate not only the Anniversary of Wiltelcom but to also celebrate the Araw ng Dabaw.
Fans from all over Davao, even from other provinces, traveled far just to get a glimpse of their idol. A fan said, "This is really an amazing experience for us, it is very seldom that we have an artist, let alone Xian Lim to be with us. I'm a true Xian fan, I've been supporting him since he started his career."

The program started by 2:30 pm with local Host, Tweety Lagman as she conducted various games to entertain the crowd while they wait for the main magic to happen. The games done by Cherry Mobile was really fun and exciting. One of the games that I found interesting was the "Who's that Cherry Star" wherein they flash body parts on the screen and contestants must guess who among the Cherry Mobile Endorsers they belong to. Other games played were, Bring Me Cherry, Longest Cherry Mobile, Cherry Mobile Hooray, Cherry Trivia and more.

By 3:30 PM, Xian made his appearance by serenading the fans with the song "Mahal na Mahal Kita", he made all the girls' stomach flutter with butterflies, you couldn't even hear yourself speak through all the screaming and shouting. He even went off the stage to be able to greet, selfie and hug his fans, it only shows how grateful and how much he loves his supporters.
After his first love song, Cherry Mobile made up some games to play with Xian, in which the girls got really excited. Xian chose the players himself and the game was simply called Sine Mo To. The mechanics are very simple. Xian will give a scene and you have to act it out with him, the game was everyone's dream, because how often do you act with your idol and the scenes he chose are you and him getting married or you and him having a fight and he had to cuddle with you, so the hugs and kisses were necessary to this game. Everyone was so kilig and wished for more.

After the two set of games, Xian serenaded once again, the audience with another love song, "Harana" as his closing performance, he even invited one lucky fan to come up on stage.

After that performance, there was a meet and greet on stage wherein Customers who bought any Cherry Mobile Phone worth 2,000 pesos had the chance to go up on stage and had their photo taken with Xian Lim, plus they got a free signed poster from Cherry Mobile.

The Davaoenos had a lot of fun and so did Xian, they made his visit a one to remember, and he can't wait to come back again soon.
